I was thinking why there's famous quote or great quote? Where was the source? So, maybe our own thinking will be the famous quote too.. Do you have one? I give you two: (Maybe someone has thought about it too) 1. If you want to get rich soon, then you must prepare to get poorer soon. 2. The ultimate enjoyment in our life is not the blessings from God, but the source of it, God Himself.. What do you think? Do you have yours? Share with me..

I wish I would have one someday. Now, I just want to learn yours and give a comment. I like the second quote. It's true, but I never do it. It should be like that. The blessings are more attractive than the source of it, Because we never seen the source and don't know how to enjoy it.

That's OK. At least you have the wish to give your own thinking. Maybe someday you will have one. I like that you can grasp the meaning of my own word. It's not a quote yet.. I really appreciate your opinion.

i have always looked upto the teachings and values imparted by Confucius since childhood. the credit, however, goes to my granpa, who used carry a big log book kinda blue book where he had all quote stuff. one book was meant for confucius alone. 'a great philosopher', he used to say, 'had more minds than he actually taught'. i used to be overwhelmed with the vast knowledge rendered with such a simplicity. obviously, i would like to share a bit of Confucius' quotes. Confucius confessed, “The way of the superior man is threefold, but I am not equal to it. Virtuous, he is free from anxieties wise, he is free from perplexities bold, he is free from fear.” “The superior man has nine things which are subjects with him of thoughtful consideration: In regard to the use of his eyes, he is anxious to see clearly. In regard to the use of his ears, he is anxious to hear distinctly. In regard to his countenance, he is anxious that it should be benign. In regard to his demeanor, he is anxious that it should be respectful. In regard to his speech, he is anxious that it should be sincere. In regard to his way of doing business, he is anxious that it should be reverently careful. In regard to what he doubts about, he is anxious to question others. When he is angry, he thinks of the difficulties his anger may involve him in. When he sees gain to be got, he thinks of righteousness.” ....this goes on and you never get tired. rf; teachingsofconfucious
