Forcing you to believe on a god??

why do people try to force other people to believe on a particular religion?? why don't they let people have their own belief?? I get irritated when someone says, " If you need to succeed in your life you should believe in XYZ, he is the only god" or "You will goto hell if you dont follow, xyz" i feel like slapping the hell outta the person, but I am civilized, i dont do in 9 out of 10 times...

Yeah, I agree with you. I don't think there's any ONE true religion out there. I know they all think that their religion is the one, but... Yeah, you know what it's like. As for the forcing beliefs on people, I HATE that. We all have our own beliefs and opinions, let us live with our own beliefs and opinions and don't try to change it! Cuz ya know what? Most people out there aren't very likely to change their minds! So deal with it! Sorry, I don't mean to be shouting at you... I'm not. Just the people out there who try to force their beliefs and opinions on people and try to "make" them change their beliefs and opinions.

yeah, it's really disgusting to say the least, by it's the nature of the people that they think if more people are on their side, the more likely that their notion is true. But unfortunately that's not correct, if it were we would have never known that earth is spherical, or it is revolving around the sun..
