I cannot hold back the tears

Oh boy, I couldn't hold back the tears either, that was just too sweet. I felt so sorry for him.

I was tearing up, too. He had a nice voice and his song was heartfelt. It was a nice moment. I don't know why there's an age limit on the contestants. Can anyone explain that for me? Thanks.

Sherman is the winner I hope he can sing again on American Idol final

My mom and I were in tears while watching. He was so sweet to have done what he did. He has just touched a lot of hearts because of what he did. Kudos/congratulations to the American Idol show producers for airing that part...I think that showed the lighter, better, heartwarming side of the show.

that guy brought tears to my eyes too. he is definitely a winner.

I know what you mean and to be able to get all of the signatures to be able to try out for American Idol... I can on the verge of tears... but he was incredible att singing and he made me smile

Now that's what i call true love.I was touched by his gesture.ANd if he could have been way younger,i think he would go through.He has a nice voice.

I tried not to cry, but it was impossible. He was so sad to have lost his love and I really think it was wonderful that he still went ahead and came to the idol to perform. He honored her memory.

I had some tears too when he sang. I thought it was real nice that they gave him a little bit of a chance to do his thing up there, I was shocked.
