If nobody buys a ticket to a movie, do they still show it?

I've always wondered that, Like if the commercials are controversial and no one likes the movie and no one buys a ticket would they still show the movie? i dont think they would. What do you think?

If nobody has brought a ticket to a particular show for a movie they will cancel the show ...

I think they still shows it. Because anytime someone might buy a ticket. They can't turn it off and turn it on as someone enters the theater.

I think they would. I think they hve to because some people that view movies like to come into the movie late. Weird, dont ask me. But I do know some people that do that, or they leave early. THANKS!
