I have anxiety...it use to be really bad a few years back but after seeing a psychologist and learning ways to cope it with it the attacks have pretty much subsided except for when really stressfull situations arise. I took Paxil for a month and did not like the way it made me feel so I got off of it. I learned breathing techniques from my psychologist which helped out a lot. Taking a deep breath in and out slowly 10 times when you feel an attack coming on. When you have an attack you will feel overwhelmed with emotions. You may start to hyperventilate. You feel like you have lost control and do not know how to get the control back.
