What is the best place you've visited? / myLot

it could be a country, a city, a monument, a museum, a mall whatever, which is the best place u've ever been and why?i've never been out of Bahrain, but my favorite place here is an old fort called the Bahrain fort, or the portuguese fort, it's so magical and so beautiful, with such history, i love going there. it's such a great place to think.

The place I enjoyed most was in Paris near the Saint Denis church. It's a place I've been wanting to visit for quite a few years because I used to be a very devoted Savage Garden fan and their most famous video was partly filmed there. It was a very interesting feeling to actually be in that place after seeing in on TV so many times :) I loved it and if I could I would go back in the blink of an eye :) (oh, and speaking of interesting places, the Eiffel tower is rather interesting too, the tower and the feeling you get on seeing it, so huge, so familiar and yet so unfamiliar at the same time :) )

Amazing. I made a terrible mistake, I didn't want to say Saint Denis but Sacre Coeur. I must be too tired or something :( An edit button would be very useful sometimes.

you're right about that, an 'edit' button would be useful. Ah, paris, it's on my list of places i wanna visit in my lifetime.

One place which really 'got' to me was the Giants Causeway in Ireland. It's a place of rock formations and has legends of giants. Despite the fact that there were many other visitors there at the time, I really felt connected to the place and didn't want to leave. I loved the shapes of the rocks, their age and the history of the place.

wow, that sounds sooooooo awesome!!!!!!! Giants causeway, it's the first time i've heard of this, i really love places with some sort of legends behind them.
