After world cup 2007, there will a situation when some renowned cricketer like McGrath, Sachin, Lara and others will retire from One day cricket at a same time. Will cricket get new promising cricketer and will they fulfil their preceders place?

I think it's going to be sad to see so many "greats" leave the game ... but they can't continue playing forever! I think it will be awhile before someone appears that is a step above the rest like these guys are. There are great cricketers and there are GREAT cricketers!

Yes nobody can continue forever. But I mean to say that at a time great cricketers will leave the ground. So there will be vacum. The upcoming players from different countries are promising but same time they need to take sometimes to mature. Actually I mean the time gap.

Ya, These cricketers now should get retire and give chance to new talents, the new players are also talented but they just want free space for showing their talent. They will do when they find some space. But these legends will always be beneficial as a criket academy. The new players should get the guidelines from these legends.

Ya sure, its just the retirement of the some great players from cricket. It does not mean retirement of them is retirement of the cricket as a whole. In older days we have seen many great players and the present ones are the successors for them. And surely we will have many promising players to come in future. The worls is changing fast and cricket will also keep its face with the world improving.
