do you feel embarassed by public display of emotion?

as i said before, my husband is the emotional type of person and sometimes, out of the blue, and even when in the mall, he'd impulsively reach out and kiss me on the cheek or on the forehead. i used to be embarassed by this but i've grown used to it and i don't mind the sometimes hostile stares we get from strangers.

Do you mean affection? I think that's sweet that your husband does that. It's not like he's trying to make out with you or feel you up in public. Take it as a compliment!

thanks for the correction, i did mean affection. nywy, in our age, i am still tickled pink when he shows he loves me. and it's also good for the chilren to see that both of us are still affectionate with each other. gives them a sense of security somehow.

ha, ha. maybe, in today's world, it's nothing already. but i was born in a generation where we were taught that public displays of affection are taboo. but, don't get me wrong, i'm slowly adapting. my hubby, after all, is an avid advocate of this movement.

No that type of thing doesn't embarass me at all. If I see it, it would make me smile. But I am embarassed if I see people making out or being sensual together in public. But shows of affection are actually nice to see.

sensual displays should not be done in public. specially when there are kids around. this type of display does embarass me!
