why do Indian names always use initials?

this seems to be that ur habitual to long names that may be in your cultural aspects, but in India, i can say various cultural disbursions are their so one can't say that names are too short or too long. It may depend on spellings also, it may start from a letter or language other than english and end upto a word long enough to complete the line.

Some of our names are writen in english there is started initials only.Present days r not complex but habiuted on using initials.
