MyLot Ups and Downs days

yeah today was an up for me. i posted more than 100. most of them with quality. i figured out a few plans and strategies i must focus on.

I dont think i have any up or down days..I just post here when am doin some work i got...Sometimes i might just strike on a thougth or idea and hence might start a new thread. Otherwise, i might just get into the respongding mood!!...Ofcourse, when i've never any work to do..i might be more active in myLot!!!!:)

OH NOOOOOOOO you seem to be human like i am not a post for money machine like so many others on mylot dont feel bad it is normal to not have something to say all the time :)

I am sorry that you have those days where you just need a break. I have the problem personally where if I ever give myself even one day of a break from 'work' unless I am just so busy outside of the house that I literally can't work, I find it very hard to get myself back into the routine again. And unfortunately, I cannot afford to stop typing here at Mylot for money right now. So even when I do hit those down spells, I just have to keep on going. I admit it is getting harder for me to reply to as many topics per day here. By the time you hit 2500 posts, well, it's hard not to have said a lot of things in different ways more than once or twice already, lol! But I still love typing here. There are just days where it's harder, like you said.

I'm sorry that you have bad days here at mylot. I don't think that I've had any bad days but then I've only been on for a few days. I do sometimes have a hard time finding subjests to post too. I find something that I like then there ar 50 response already saying the same thing that I was going to say so I skip it and move on. THen there are the discussions that I could actually answer but my comments would hardly make up a full sentence so I skip thoughs. I just have to keep trying. Good luck to you here at mylot!

This is actually my first day here. But I am sure there will be days just like the ones you have described. I usually read the news or world events for inspiration. You are so right to take a break! Taking a break is important so you don't get burnt out.

Well i like to enjoy as much as possible on mylot forum though there are days i post less as i don't find good enough topics to post or that attract my attention and keeping to and fro. Besides i tend to write long posts so i am engrossed in it, and fully enjoy it. So i don't really have down days on mylot excep after writing long post & saving it internet connection goes off, tat soes upset at times. But hopefully that won't happen too much as things can only get better. But other that whenever i am on mylot i enjoy it a lot as we can our our views to global audience trhough mylot, can get advice & also help others out. Beides having lot of friends & having healthy interaction with fellow mylotians, and also earn few bucks in process is also nice. So iam quite happy with mylot. Besides being in cheerful and positive mood also helps.

that's actully a good idea so you don't get burnt out on it. I mean anything after awhile can get old.

For me it's not hard to find something to respond to when I look at 'discussions my friends started' and at my 'interests' .. but sometimes there's too much to respond to but I feel a kind of "writers block" and can't give good responses.. I don't start new discussions every day so it's not a problem for me to come up with something god, I just do it when I feel like it . since I joined I haven't missed a day at mylot but at times I may just post 5 to 10 responses and that's it , other times i may stay up all night.

I think we get jittery at mylot because we want to earn money everyday here. I too have my share of ups and downs. Your idea of taking a break for one or two days is practical. Rather than to feel frustrated because we cannot find any good quality discussions to read, taking that break will be good. But I do hope you will also post as many good discussions for us to read and respond.

I'm also having one of those days. Nothing seems to appeal to me. I can't think of any new discussions. I'm feeling really depressed today and that probably has something to do with it. I think I will just call it a night and see things better tomorrow. I can't even give a good response when I feel like this. Ah well tomorrow is another day.

I think I am on my down days because I've been busy lately. I am also running out of ideas to post so I think I need a little time off to refresh again. Hopefully one of these days I'll be on track again. Goodluck on us!

Everything has ups and downs. The real trick is to have more ups than downs. Which, can be a real feat if you're having a run of bad luck.

I know! If I am having a down day on the creative side I just browse and respond. This gives me an idea of which discussions have recently started and helps to reduce the number of similar discussions I start. I think it depends on what happens in your day too. It is bedlam here today, with a friend moving house and who has run us to say she is 200 miles off course and we are trying to direct her back to the right road, another neighbour wants us to take him shopping and our pet birds have just knocked their water pot out and escaped into the lounge. So today I have a jackpot of things for discussion lol.

hi,this was happened with every genuine my lot member,i hope.what you are doing is good for revital and gettting fresh for participation.I too get sometimes bore out of not getting ideas.

why do you feel so depressed about that, that's life

yes it is happen when mylot is busy with lot of members are loging in one time so it si comon we will take it easy

I have days like that too, some days I'll come on here and find a ton of posts I can respond to. Then other days nothing will spark my interest and I just get so bored with the whole thing. Then there are times when I will see a discussion and try to participate in it, but the words don't come out sounding the way I expect them to at all, lol, writer's block I guess...

I don't really have many down sides here. i do feel down sometimes when i post alot to other peoples and i get hardly any for mine but i put that down to the way i write 'em. (it's not the end of the world, so i shouldn't be bothered really) Also when i can't use the site to minor errors. (again not really a problem) There's to many plus sides. When someone replies to mine or gives me the best response. (makes me happy) talking to people who are friendly, being helpful etc ~Joey
