Are you ever too old to go back to college/grad school?

I'm only 21 but I wonder whether its ok to start over if I don't like the way things are going 5, 10 or 20 years from now. How old were others when they made the switch, are they happier now?

i do think that 21 is kinda old for a normal college student in my country yea ... but never give up , no one will look down on you if you have the sprit of studying or else you regret when you get old

I certainly advise you to plan to keep an eye on returning to a school of some kind... 5 or 10 years down the road, if things continue going the way they are now, you know that job security and your paycheck will always be tenuous at best. Staying informed and educated is the only way to prevent negative outcomes from causing you perilous setbacks... I'm sure that the more senior members will agree with me on this. Please also plan to add some kind of financial and business education to your profile, you must be prepared to eventually go out on your own, even in a relatively good employment market. I began backing up my education after retirement at ags 48, I feel that it's never too late to bolster your education... When you feel that you've got the intelligence and knowledge to handle Life's quirks and changes, of course you will feel more adept and maybe even happy! :) Kudos to you for being wise enough to even ask such a great question at age 21, it shows a growing maturity on your part, that you can be very proud of!
