Are You With Amending The Constitution Or Not?

In my country, we have had several constitutions over the history. However, this last one was perceived by the whole country to be our permenant constitition as it has been there sine 1971, and as it contains some of the best articles that guarantees human rights and freedoms. Now, the current regime is after amending the constitution, but all of the civil society actors fear that they would restrict the rights and freedoms guaranteed by the current constitution. So what do you guys think?
