Ok, Ok, Ok, I know we are not supposed to really put this stuff up but i couldnt help myself. I watched it and fell in love all over again. those that grew up with the show and remembers this song will know what im talking about.

Mr rogers..I loved him..
Captain kangaroo...he was great too..
something called vio allegre (sp)...
These shows are close to my heart..they are so different then the learning shows they have out today..
you can actually feel the love in them..where as even the learning shows today you cannot..it just sort of a flat empty screen..

electric company...thanks mary for reminding me of them i loved them. They went off the air first though. :(

Oh I don't know, my girls grew with Barney, Elmo and the TelleTubbies. They still will sing the "I love you and You love me" song, being silly of course. I think they are not as cool as our shows seemed to be when we were little, but there are some still out there the kids of today love.
