Just wanted to post here that I got my first Associated Content offer this morning! $6 for an article about salvation. Pretty amazing -- only took about five minutes to write. Thanks to blogyourself for recommending this site. If you want to give it a try, go to http://www.associatedcontent.com/join.html?refer=46507

You must be a pretty fast typist. I write for AC also, but have never even been able to post an article there in 5 minutes, let alone write it. At that rate you should be able to turn out 10-12 articles an hour, worth $60-$72. Just imagine what you would make if you worked all day. 8 X $72= $556. And suppose you worked at that rate all month. Wow. 20 days X $556= $11120. I really envy you. I think I will have to practice up on my keyboarding skills to see if I can't get in on all that money.

LOL -- I think the speed of this particular article was not something I could do regularly. Most of the time it would take me much longer than that just to research an article. This was a quick one, just because I knew the material I was writing about by heart.

When you publish an item, you have the choice to submit it as paid or unpaid. If it's a paid article, it goes through a process of consideration and they come back with an offer before it ever is shown on the site. It takes about two weeks (or so I've been told) for this process. The article I heard about this morning was written and submitted back on 1/21/07.

I tried looking at AC but was never able to get anything published. Maybe I just didn't give it a chance. What did you write, I'd like to read it. Is there an article name for people to pull up?

Wow, thanks! I'm going to check into that. I enjoy writing, but have never submitted anything to be paid. Do you write for any other sites or is this your first one? I signed up for their newsletter and am anxious to see what it's like. Thanks for the information!

No, this is my first one, but I am very happy with them. I've had several items published now, the last one was just yesterday! If you enjoy writing, I would highly recommend that you go ahead and give it a try. Just remember, no fiction, memoirs or poetry.

I have a question that can be considered a bit off topic, but I would like to know. Does associated content work for canada or just for people in the United states? It would be nice to be able to try for some extra money but I know that many places are only for the states.

Yeah, AC is pretty amazing. I've been working there full-time since October, but joined in June. I love it. It's hard to believe that the company is legit, but it really is and it's a great work from home job.

Congratulation on your success! This is really a good amount for five minutes work. If someone can offer like this every now and then, that will be a good earning.

Congratulations BunGirl! I do have a question that I'm hoping you might have the answer for. Do you know if the author retains copyright for the articles that are paid for by Associated Content? I would be interested in signing up, but my concern would be will I be able to use my articles elsewhere such as my websites or blogs. Cheers!

Well, it depends on how you submit the article. If you submit it for exclusive use, AC keeps the rights. You can also submit for non-exclusive though, which means AC has the right to publish the article indefinitely, but you retain all other rights to it.

Thank you! I did sign-up under your referral code, however I found out that payment for articles is for residents of the USA only. I'm Canadian. I will still add some articles as even without payment the exposure can't hurt. Thanks again, I appreciate it!

If you like $6 for an article, you really have to check out Constant Content: http://www.constant-content.com/?aref=2932 There, I wouldn't price an article for $6 unless it was a short one that I could sell over and over to people on there. If I was giving full rights away for it, I'd be selling for around $25. Quite a big difference. Plus, the longer the article, the more money I sell mine for... like 1500 words for $150. And they do sell. But you have to wait a bit, because they need to find you a buyer first. But if you look at the people who've written the most, and the people with the top sales, then you'll notice that the people who write the most, sell the most and in turn earn a nice sum while doing so. All you need to do is worry about writing the articles, blog postings, tutorials, or reviews and then if they are accepted, they'll find the buyers for you and pay you when they sell. It's a pretty good deal. Either way, congrats on making a sale, and best of luck to you, on which ever place you earn your money from your articles!

Hey, it's worth a shot, right? The worst that can happen is they say no -- and then what have you lost really? I've had a couple more articles posted since this, and I try to keep a couple in the "reviewing" state, so I'm sure I'll have more soon!

You really can make some money on AC but you really have to be smart about what you write about, try writing about things that will generate random views.

I got my first offer yesterday for my first article. I also made $6! I waited for over a week and am so happy that I finally got my offer. I submitted 2 more yesterday and I can't wait until I get offers on them. I love Associated Content and will definitely be writing more there! Congratulations on your offer. :)

Hello bun girl...your thread may be 2 months old but I like to congratulate you on your earnings at associated content. I heard a lot about this site but haven't check it out yet. If I still have the time , I might be able to contribute some of my own thoughts. Way to go, girl and keep up the good work!

Thanks so much! I have published a number of articles on AC now, most of them coming directly from my scripture of the day posts here on myLot. It's kinda fun to see what they think and what they're willing to pay for my writing. Kind of a thrill!
