I haven't really tried cosplaying yet. But lots of my friends tell me that I could cosplay with no problems at all. There's this friend of mine who keeps telling me that I can cosplay Itachi of Naruto perfectly. That's me in the picture. Do you think I could dress up as Itachi? LOL

yes i have done cosplays. i created a gundam costume. rx-178 mk2 to be more specific. it took me about three weeks to complete. it was made from rubber foam. it was very hard and tiresome. however, it is worth the effort. i won second place :)

I cosplay! I have a few posts up in my discussions about it, actually. I've done a few cosplays already - Doris from Vampire Hunter D, Dante from Fullmetal Alchemist, Ayame from Fruits Basket and Aya from Weiss Kruez. I'm currently working on a Lust cosplay and a Tamaki cosplay - from Fullmetal Alchemist and Ouran Host Club. It really is fun, especially if you're going in a large group. After I'm done with the costumes I'm working on, I'm going to be making Lamika from Vampire Hunter D and Guu from Hare + Guu.

My first real cosplay was when I came as a female Crusader of Ragnarok Online, riding a PecoPeco and wielding a heavy Crescent Scythe on my right hand, a shield on my left, and a sword sheathed on my belt. I was one of the top 20 finalists out of hundreds, and I won an in-game rare item for that.^^ My second real cosplay was as part of a group cosplay for Shaman King. I came in dressed as Jun Tao. Other times, I dressed up in unconventional attires, e.g. wearing a velvet bloody red gown with thigh-high slits inside a mall. They weren't really cosplays, of course - just fun. \m/^_^

Hmm.. actually I don't like cosplay that much..... no certain reason, actually... I just don't like it. But I don't blame people who do cosplay as long as they like it.

I never did it, but i like to watch cosplay performance. It really interesting when anime become reality, the most important thing that make fun of cosplay is, how anime character can be represent with someone that have same look and appearace.

I haven't done cosplay...but i've often read about it in mangas...you know - cosplay cafe and the like. But i thought cosplay means dressing up as waiters...guess i'm wrong. So cosplay means something like holoween came early or something? And is it usually anime chars that you mimic?

I also want to try it. Some of my classmates have already done that and they're so cute. They really looked like the real anime characters.
