Would you like to know how to get out of your cell phone contract?

I was reading a post earlier about someone being mad about the cellular contact. I used to work at sprint and I would get cursed out all day by people mad about their contract. I would hint to them how to do it (cause I could not tell them how on the phone) but they would never listen and keep cursing me out. This is all you have to do: Tell your cell company that you have moved to an area that does not have their coverage. I know sprint has areas in Montana, Idaho, and other areas that do not have sprint coverage. Or you can say you are moving to Mexico for sprint as well. If you tell them a state in the US then they will want to look up the address but you can find and address on the Internet. If you tell them you are moving to Mexico - They will not even bother to ask you an address - They have to let you out of the contract if you are not in their coverage area! Do not waste you time crying and complaining that you do not get good coverage. They will not let you out of your contract for that and the customer service rep will get fired if they do. Just tell them you are moving. All cell companies in the USA are the same - it is against the law for them to keep you in a contract if you are moving out of their coverage area. I am not sure how it is in other countries, but I am sure it is the same.

What a good spirit you are for sharing this information! I have been in cell-phone hell for so many years; but now my company is actually providing good service and I don't want to leave them. Thank you ~Donna

THAT is totally awesome!!!!! My sister has a problem with her cell company and now I can tell her how to get out of it. But I have a question. She has two cell phones. Her daughter is going away for college. If she just wants to get rid of that one phone, can she say that person with that one phone is leaving the coverage area and still keep her service for her phone? I would think that would still apply because of the add a line. Obviously, she does not need two lines. So, if only on person is leaving the area, will they drop just that one phone?

Yea - That is all she has to do. Just tell them that one person is moving.
