How to Buy Healthy Fast Food

Go for grilled, broiled or steamed entre'es over fried. Chicken, turkey and fish are leaner than ground beef.
Say no to special sauces, cheese, mayonnaise and bacon; they'll pack on the calories, fat and cholesterol.
Order regular or junior meals instead of supersize meals. If you have a big appetite, include a side salad with low-cal dressing.
Pick up a salad. Leafy greens, veggies and beans are great but be frugal with bacon bits, cheese, mayonnaise-based salads and creamy dressings. Avoid fried tortilla shells.
Hold the dressing in exchange for dessert. Creamy salad dressings have more calories and fat in a single serving than a large cookie.
Drink water, skim milk or unsweetened iced tea instead of soda.
Expand your definition of fast food: sub sandwiches or wraps with lean meat (no cheese, no mayo), burritos (no cheese, no sour cream), Greek kebabs or pitas.
Help yourself!

What a lovely tip this is! You're right, you can still enjoy fast food and keep it as healthy as possible. Fast food in general is usually high in fat, calories and other things that are bad for us. But following your advice, we can absolutely cut down on those bad things as much as possible, and still enjoy some great fast food! ^_^ I am going to keep your tips in mind for the next time that I hopefully am able to go out to a fast food restaurant. Thanks! ^_^
