How often do you bathe/shower?

I'm being totally serious with this one. I really want to know how often you think a person should bathe. I try to take a shower every night, but sometimes it just doesn't happen. Most of the time when I skip my shower I'm just too tired to hop in there so I just go to bed. Do you think that a person should bathe every single day? I think you should every day or day and a half. I have to feel clean.

Like ashleypastor, I don't like to get the bed dirty, but if I haven't worked out or done physical labor I have no problem with replacing a full shower with a quick wash-up once in a while, and really, there is nothing scary about going on a camping trip and skipping the showe altogether for a few days. I am not like my sweet hubby who would not dream of leaving the house even to go out to the mail drop, without a full shower. No camping for him, thank you.

I usually shower in the evenings after work, every day in the warm weather, every second day when it is cold and I have not done anything strenious. I have very dry skin, and showering too often makes it much worse and itchy. I don't tend to sweat much and, since I have always bathe like this, the oils in my body don't build up as fast. If you shower everyday, your body produces more oil to replace what is lost faster. The body slows this process down if you bathe less often.

I mean it's not right to not shower or bathe daily it's so gross if you don't. Yes I sometimes take baths, but most the time I take a shower every morning. But I mean it's just not right to not shower or bathe in one day it's sometime your parents taugh you, you need to get clean at least once a day. So I shower in the morning maybe a bathe at night.

I think a person should be aware of there hygiene & do all in there power to clean themselves. I think it's important to bathe yourself each day as it helps to wash off all of the germs that you may have come in contact with during the day.. Or at least so that you are making sure that you smell clean, as well as feel clean all at the same time. I think if a person is unable to bathe daily that then maybe they should bathe the day afterwards as soon as they can. I believe leaving yourself for days on end before taking a bath is some-what unsanitary. I've known people who have done this & I don't even know how they can handle being in there own skin.. I know that in the past I have waited a day to bathe & I just went absolutely crazy.. I began to feel itchy, as well as my skin started breaking out in to hives.. And my hair was so greasy & I just felt terrible in general.. So I don't quite understand how a person could go without bathing at least once a day or even the day afterwards.. I know that I was unable to do this.. So I don't quite understand how someone could handle feeling filthy for an entire day. I mean it may be that some people don't feel this way when not bathing for a day or two.. But I don't quite understand how someone wouldn't be feeling dirty while doing this. I know that what bothers me the most is when my hair is greasy.. As it begins to become itchy. Usually the only time I find myself not bathing at least once a day is when like you.. I feel to tired to bathe so will just go straight to bed.. But I know that the next day I make sure to take a bath or at least clean myself as soon as I may have the time. So I guess you could say that I think it's important that someone takes a bath daily or at least every second day to feel clean.. Or at least keep themselves from smelling. I know that I would feel more than embarrassed if I was able to smell the sweat off of my body.. And knowing that if I can smell it, then so can others. I know that I take pride in my personal appearance & make it a habit to clean myself & to practice good hygiene in general. Because of my experience without bathing for a day I know that I am unable to do this.. As if I do like I had stated above.. I will then become rather itchy in general or I will go crazy due to the feeling of my hair being so greasy in general. So I make sure to wash myself daily, as well as bathe daily as I love the feeling of being clean.. I find feeling clean helps me to feel not only better about myself.. But also enables me to get things done a lot quicker, as well as helps me to get things done properly.. I find when I am feeling disgusting that it makes me not want to do anything.. It also makes me feel rather grumpy as I begin to not feel all to good about myself afterwards because of this. I then begin to have an attitude with others around me just because I am feeling dirty or unclean.. So I try to avoid being unclean at all costs.. In conclusion.. I believe that a person should make it a priority to bathe each day or every second day.. I think it's only proper to clean yourself so that you can prevent yourself from smelling.. I know that personally though I have to bathe each day.. To get rid of the germs that may be on my body, or the dirt, smells, among other things that my be on my body as well.. But also so I will feel good about myself just from knowing that I am feeling clean, but that I am also clean all at the same time! Personal hygiene is very important to me & I make sure to keep myself clean at all times! . . Thanks for allowing me to share! xx

I take a shower every day; I also wash my hair every day since I have really oily hair, but some people with drier skin and hair can probably skip a day without offending anyone.

I'll take my bath at least twice a day. It makes me feel clean and fresh. Using the right shower foam will just make me feel rejuvenated. It's nice to be cleaned. I think people should take bath at least once a day. It is important for themselves as well as to others around you. People will feel uncomfortable being around somebody who is smelly.

I shower every day, for the most part. Of course sometimes I shower every other day. But there are some days I shower twice a day. So it just depends if I feel/am clean. I do perfer taking showers at night though because I don't like getting into bed dirty. I would love to take a shower in the morning too, but their is not enough time/hot water by the time it would be my turn to get in. Occationally I am able to get in for about a five minute shower, but even then I am rushed on getting ready and blowdrying my hair, ect..it's just not worth it unless I really need to.
