I have just discovered this cheese and I am absolutely surprised. After years of using only cheddar, I tried a small slice of cheshire cheese bought by my partner. WOW! It is very crumbly so you have to be careful that it goes into the sandwich and not onto the kitchen surface or floor, but it is a sort of creamy crumbly! He says it is also better for my heart condition, but actually I don't care, I think this is a wonderful taste and texture. Do you like cheshire cheese?

We don't get into Tesco very often as our nearest one is too far from parking facilities. If I walk to the shop, I can't walk round the shop or walk back to the car lol. However, it is on the wish list and my eyes are peeled!

Nope I don't like it at all I prefer Red Leicester Cheese. I have never liked Cheshire Cheese. My favourite one is Emmentaler, now that one I adore.

Hmmmm better remember that for the future. However, you have had Cheshire on your pizza because that was all we had that day. All I can think is that the tomato, tuna, sweetcorn and onion toned down the flavour lol.

Maybe you don't, Cheshire cheese is quite a common cheese over here, not a speciality cheese or anything, but I don't know if it travels well abroad. If you do see any it would be nice to know, as I had not thought that it would not be known in other countries. Do you have cheddar cheese over there?

I have never heard of Cheshire. Is it like feta cheese or blue cheese? Sounds good - I can say its good for my heart - any excuse to eat cheese!

It is definitely nothing like blue cheese but I am not sure what feta is like, maybe another little taste trial coming up! It is creamy in taste but crumbly in texture and very light. I don't know if it is good for your heart but my partner says it is much healthier for me than cheddar, the cheese I usually eat. If you do get the chance to try any cheshire please let me know what you think of it :-)
