hi there, most discussions i see is where people ask to earn a fair bit of money on here in order to earn this you will need to -
post good discussions where you will get quite a few responses, also please rate the response out of + - ! or if you find you don't know what to rate it, then it's up to you if you leave it blank!
when responding to another persons discussion, please read it properly first, then put your response in, try to make it a few lines long because one liner or just a few words probably won't earn you much, if not anything!
try to upload some pics to your discussions and response, i think you get around $0.02 for doing this!
also try and get people to sign up using your referral link provided, this will not only help you but you will eanr 25% of there earnings too!
and lastly if you don't have a star yet you will get one once you reach 100 posts, this star will then have a rating from 1 to 10, depending on how good you have done and how people have rated you!

I rated this post a plus because posts like this helps everyone as well as bring clarity to this site. We do need members willing to encourage newbies to earn the right way. Let's also teach them simple strategies to get them moving the right track and not to stress themselves whilst trying to earn more. My strategy goes like this :
a. Read and respond to about 15 quality posts daily.
b. To post 2 or more quality discussions daily.
c. To upload about 20 photos weekly.
d. To get as many referrals as possible.
Simple and it does not give me any stress. I can get an average of about 1.00 to 1.50 daily. Happy earnings to all.

hi there well yes referrals are good but i can earn $2 a day by just posting bigger responses to people's discussions! to be honest, ive never uploaded a photo so i don't know how to get them, i just put the info about the photo's there incase people want to upload them! if you look in the help section they may have the info there for you! also when responding to my discussion or anyone's please use the respond to discussion button and when you have your own discussion and you want to reply to someone then use the add comment button! thanks for responding! :O)

I like your guidelines and will try and use them myself! Tell me, are your photos usually ones you've taken yourself? And what, in your experience, are the best ways of getting referrals? I think a dollar a day is really impressive, well done!

Wow! Excellent advice for the newcomers. I like your first suggestion, I do think that's where you can make more with your own started discussion having receive lots of responses. Sometimes, though I find it hard to come up with a new discussion, so that's why for now, I am concentrating on posting responses 'till I have started discussion to post in. Yes! You are right there, if you are a newcomer, and don't really like to type, this is a good option for you, just upload pics on your interests. However mylot have a maximum limit for a day, I think you can only upload up to 27 pics. I have uploaded pics for three days now and I can only upload 27, then the page would say you have reach the maximum limit. And the sweetest thing is to refer friends. I like your suggestion, you just sum up how you can make money on three options we do have here in mylot, discussions, images and referral earnings. Good luck to you!

thanks very much for the excellent response tmnjyk, sometimes i feel like i can't think of a discussion and just cary on responding till one comes up in my head! i didn't know about the limit with 27 photos, that's great that you explained that too! thanks for responding!

there was something i missed out on my discussion at the top of this page, also when you respond to someones discussion, please press the respond to discussion button and not add comment, when you have your own discussion going and you want to reply to somebody else's response then you can press the add comment button! :O)

thanks for this information. This would surely help us to earn while enjoying our stay here in my lot. I have read a lot of discussion regarding how disgusted they are in mylot for earning very low. There are also some who complained about receiving nonsense reply (those people who read only the title of the topic and not the whole discussion). posting a good topic for discussion to attract a lot of responses will be my goal for now. thanks a lot for this.

for example your star is a 7 yes and mine is a 9, i have been rated a + therefore more times than yourself, with the certain colour's, i don't know why they picked them colours but here is the star ratings so you might understand,
number 1 star is a rating of 5 to 14.
number 2 star is a rating of 15 to 24.
number 3 star is a rating of 25 to 34.
number 4 star is a rating of 35 to 44.
number 5 star is a rating of 45 to 54.
number 6 star is a rating of 55 to 64.
number 6 star is a rating of 65 to 74.
number 7 star is a rating of 65 to 74.
number 8 star is a rating of 75 to 84.
number 9 star is a rating of 85 to 94.
number 10 star is a rating of 95 to 100.

Excellent response, but I'm fairly new and have already seen on here a lot of people don't use the "search mylot" before they post questions. This might be something to stress to "newbies" before you post a question check and see if someone else has already done it.

Im sure it has been covered on this site somewhere but I dont know how to upload pictures to my posts. Where do you get the pictures you post? Where do you go on the site to upload then to the post? Is there anything else about posting pictures I need to know to be successful? Thanks for all you r help. I love this site.

wow thanks for your help i didn't realise that you are payed for the length of your reply ...crazy i will defonatly take on bored what you have addressed.
so how many discussions will i need to post to get $10?
i would like to know the brake down of how much you get payed for different things...as i haven't been able to find that info.

yes you are payed a little more if the length of your reply is bigger! if you post around 50 great and big responses you could earn around $2 to $3, that's what i earned anyway, with the own discussions im not sure! hope this helps and thanks for responding! :O)
