Do you have problems with spelling on mylot??

I was having a big problem with my post because of my spelling - I would try to sound all smart but when I looked at my post I would have 10 misspelled words. I just updated my Mozilla firefox browser -(I only use explorer when I have to - to many viruses on explorer) and now it is showing me misspelled words on everything I do. It is really helping - But it does not help with punctuation or sentence structure - Does any one know where I could download something like that to my computer?

When you reach 500 points you could type it in Word and it will help with grammar, I think? I like the spelling feature on firefox. At first, it drove me nuts but I got used to it!

Please don't worry about spelling - this is not an authors' forum. I have always been obsessed about correct spelling, but as I am aging I find that my brain is not processing words that I once knew how to spell correctly - so I look for another word that means the same thing and type that. I had Explorer 7 problems last week and had to download the Netscape Browser. They are both presenting me with problems when working with my Tupperware site and this is my business site. Maybe I will do start a discussion for the computer smart people and they can help. I am happy you started this ~Donna

I do the same thing - I may not be able to spell well but I know a lot of words. Have you tried mozilla yet? you may need to initialize your computer. I am going to have to check out your tupperware site. My mother loves the stuff - I buy her new tupperware and take all of her old tupperware.

I before was using IE browser so if there was some spelling errors, it wouldn't tell me. Now I have Mozilla and luckily I don't find too many issues.

mozilla is pretty good - I think that I get more frustrated when I can not read what someone else wrote - some peoples sentence structure is terrible here. I have no Idea what they are saying. I used to really try to figure out what it was saying but now I tend to pass them on by. Thanks for the response.

I have problems spelling a lot of times online. Some of the time I do it intentionally and other times i do it and notice it but just dont care because I mean hey it is online and its not like im being graded. As long as it is understood what I am saying I am fine.

I got you - Sometimes a typo will make your post seem unclear - People post questions on here and I have no Idea what they are asking because of all the typos - plus I have to learn what some of these internet terms mean - I still have no Idea what LAMO means.

I am a very good speller but have noticed when I go back and look at some of my posts that I put up that there are spelling errors all through it . This is because I don't take the time to check it before I post it and I am in a rush to put down my thougths before I forget what it was I wanted to say . I can't help you out as I don't know anything you can download to help you out .

well my advice would be is dont try to break your head over the spellings.this is a place where you can be yourself and everyone are boung to make mistakes.well the best way to rectify them according to me would be to sit down and go through what you have typed and check for any errors.it is slow but effective.:-)

well, spelling is not important;because it's just like a conversation with community friends, that's it as long as they get the idea what r u trying to give?

I was lucky using Firefox with spelled corrector on there. usually I just write response then firefox will check which spelled wrong and make it to become right.

I've always had trouble with spelling. My brain doesn't compute phonetic sounds like everybody us meaning I literally can't sound out words. It's a real big bother, but I've gotten use to it. I dislike extremely when I have something spelled wrong, but I know it's going to happen so I just deal. I'm not sure where you could download something to help you with your grammer/ sentence structure. Have you tried a search at yahoo.com?

I am a TERRIBLE speller and this place MyLot doesnt make me any worse or better! However if I THINK I spelled a word wrong I usually put a (sp?) to show that. Otherwise, I do my best. Too bad the computer doesnt do a spell check like you can do in microsoft word programs :))
