For Price is Right fans, will this game show go on after Barker retires?

Do you think they will continue this game show after Bob Barker retires? Do you think this show will end? Some game shows go on but with different hosts but I can not imagine Price is Right without Bob Barker. It would not be the same. How would you feel about this?

If they have high ratings, then they will continue it without him. If not, they will scrap it and use it as a re run. I don't watch it, so it would not bother me.

My feeling would be people would still watch it or try out for the show but the ratings might not be as high without him being the host. People have grown to love the man and he has been doing the show for many years.

He retires in June or July of this year. I think they might try and get someone else to host, but I don't think it will stick and sadly I think the Price is Right will be over with after he leaves. Or rather a short time after that.

Thank you for letting me and everyone know when he is planning on retiring. I will have to make sure I catch some shows before he leaves. I do not think the show will do very well after he leaves but it will go on at least for a little while.

I was under the impression that Bob Barker already retired..didnt he? Or is he on his way out..I thought I heard he had retired..There will never be anyone else like him..Just like when they switch hosts for Family Feud..

I have not had the chance to watch the show in a while but he may have retired already. I watched this game show all the time when I was younger and even not too long ago. It would not be the same without him there.

I agree it would not be the same without him but I think the show will still go on as it is a popular show. I used to watch it all the time but I haven't in awhile. So it really doesn't matter to me anymore.

I watched it all the time as well years ago and I figure they probably will replace him with someone but it will not have the same feeling or excitement.

I think the show will suffer a little when Bob Barker retires. I have no idea who could take his place and make a show last as long as that.

I think they will try to continue the show with someone else as a host, but I don't think it lasts for that long because that man kept it alive for that long. People got to know him more and if someone else gets to run the show, it'll take people awhile to adjust to that. And maybe it will continue and maybe not. Who knows? We'll see eventually.

I'm just not sure it would be the same no matter what. It's like saying "Let's watch Gilligan's Island without Gilligan". He's just a part of the show and the most important part. I do think they're going to attempt keeping the show on, it's a huge hit and has been for so long that it would be a shame not to have it. Just not sure anyone will be ready for it without Ol' Bob Barker!

I was wondering this myself. It is an enjoyable show and though it would not be the same without Bob I hope it does continue.
