personality or looks?

When you meet someone that you are attracted to, which factor is the "captivating" one for you- the personality of that person or his/her physical appearance? I tend to believe that we are first drawn to one person based solely on how they look outwardly and it is only when we get to know that person that we find out if we are attracted to them emotionally and that is when we entertain the idea of cultivating a deeper relationship with them. What do you think?

actually most of the time we are more attracted to looks especially if she is beautiful or he is handsome however, personality is more important because once you get to know one person your outlook with that person change because of his good attitude that he shows such as he has sense of humor and very loving friend...actually there is a saying "Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder"...there are some who is not granted with good looks but as you may see they are more given of chances and more successful...you can also see the beauty of one person if he has the ability to face every challenges of his life and he is capable to handle every task or responsibilities assigned to him :)
