Have you ever thought about the suffering and pain that Jesus went through for us? I saw the passion of Christ and it was pretty graphic. But that still nothing to what he went through. I just thank him every day that he did what he did for me.

I also saw the movie and cried. It's awful to know that I have done so much to make him suffer so greatly. I only hope that as I live my life for him that He sees me and says, "I know this one"

I believe he will. God knew that we could not be perfect and that is why he sent His only son.

Have you ever thought about getting saved? You know that when your time comes to leave this world could be any time. Know one knows. When you take your last breath, the decision is made. It will be too late. I hope you will think about it.

Oh Im not catholic either. There is nothing against Catholic's. I think it is a beautiful religion. I guess you could say my religion is Baptist. But that dont really matter either. All that matters is I am a Christian.

Yes it is hard to imagine how much he suffered for us. I also seen the passion of christ and it was a very good heart breaking movie but you are right it probably dont come close to the real thing.

Someone asked me one time if I would let one of my sons die for someone else. I said no. I would die for them but I could not give my son to die for anyone. Well God did

i haven't watched the passion of christ though but my husband said that He was hurt so bad, and it was so inhumane. I really appreciate and i'm so thankful as well that God has sent us Jesus christ for us to be redeemed from our sins. thinking about it, Jesus is a sinless individual yet he has to suffer just for us to be save. i was just reading the bible recently and i came across a verse that made me realize how great Jesus has done for all of us and for the rest who will know and accept him. For just as through the disobedience of one man(Adam) the many were made sinner; so also as through the obedience of the one man the many were to be righteous. romans 5:19

I love that verse. My hubby and I went to the movies to watch the Passion Of Christ. I cried all the way through the movie. After the movie was over, I went to the bath room and sat in a stall and cried more. My face was so swollen when I came out. I told my hubby that I was going to hold on to him and look down because of how my face looked. My hubby said "dont worry about that, look around you". I raised my head and people was crying everywhere. It really touched me.

Jesus Christ has already suffered everything for us. I find life very difficult and unfair, but the only thing that gives me joy is that One day Our Lord will return and take me to His Home and then there will be no more sufferings and pains. Everyone will be judged and rewarded according to their deeds. He is my everything...He is my all...

Yes the world would be a better place. But, as you know if you have ever read Revelation, That will never happen, until Our Lord comes back.

Yes. Thanks for posting this. I actually read a book about a man, a non-believer, who portrayed and acted the life of Christ in a play and after studying the life and passion of Christ became a believer and an active Christian. The son of God became a son of man so that we sons of men can become sons of God through repentance and faith on Him and what He has done for us.

Yes Passion of Christ is a movie that has moved millions. Myself and my folks at home could not comprehend the depth and width of his love that he suffered for us and even then many a times we tend to go against HIS wishes. But the great hope is that HE came and suffered for us that we may have eternal life!

I hear that! Thats the thing. God knew us before we was ever born. He knew that we would mess up and he still went through with it. Everyone sins everyday, just trying not to is the thing and asking forgiveness and really meaning it. I hope you have a great day.

Yes I also thank Him for giving His life so that we can live. I am a Roman Catholic, although not a very devout one, but I do appreciate waht He has done and continues to do for us everyday.

exactly, He is the reason we breath every breath. He could cut it off any time he wanted to.

Great discussion I have seen the movie though it has been quite a while. Definitely a subject that is not discussed enough. I guess that people are just too busy. But as I recall not that long ago, the world was a much better place when we took the time for him as well as takin the time to whoop the youngings butts.

Well, where there is God, there is hope. When America starts taking God out of everything, We will have no hope.
