Does Bad Breadth bothers you?

Would you tell someone they had bad breath? If you'd been on a few dates with someone whom you'd otherwise found attractive, and this person had consistently had bad breath, would you find a way to tell the person directly and gently that their breath odor bothered you? This isn't an issue for me with anyone in particular, I just wondered about it after reading something about complete honesty in dating and other personal relationships. What would you do?
