Grey Scrambled Eggs

Australia

Recently we cooked up some scrambled eggs from our own chickens, and it turned really grey. Has anyone experienced this, and do you know what the problem might be. They are fed oats and wheat, along with a calcium supplement and an assortment of table scraps.

Whatever you use for mixing, maybe metal spoon or fork may change your eggs color.

Thanks. We have an assortment of old cutlery, and some of them would be likely to discolour the eggs. I was a bit worried that I wasn't feeding them properly!

Oooh I just read about this the other day. homesteading.com is an awesome forum for homesteaders and folks who like doing home'ish stuff. :) I cant remember exactly but I think it had something to do with sulfer or something?
