How fast is your internet speed and does internet line get disturbed or cut off / myLot

Since I am in Nepal, Our internet lines comes in the speed of 256 kbps but unfortunately it gets off and disturbed time to time. How about yours.......

I am on a 512kpps DSL internet subscription here in the Philippines. We really had troubles about our DSL connections a few weeks back due to the earthquake in Taiwan. It only got back to 100% three days ago (in my case). =/
