-----------------------------------------------------
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock:
if any man hear my voice, and open the door,
I will come in to him, and will sup with him,
and he with me. To him that overcometh will
I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as
I also overcame, and am set down with my
Father in his throne. He that hath an ear,
let him hear what the Spirit saith unto
the churches (Revelation 3:20-22).
---------------------------------------------
What does such a verse mean?
This is such a commonly quoted verse and
yet I wonder how much thought and
reflection goes into it.
“So, Jesus is standing at the door and knocking?
Which door?
Oh the door to my heart. I didn’t realize my heart had a door.”
And so the dialog goes on and on, never being resolved
but always followed by yet another Christian euphemism.

Yeah, that is just somethig else. The Bible usually makes me think hard about what is written. Somethings in there are very confusing.
