is internet a boon or a bane?

i think that internet is boon and i have used it as a boon. it has been very helpful to interact with my parents and i used to call them but now i do voice chat and it has reduced the cost of telephoning them. internet has been of gr8 help to me while i was preparing for the campus interviews. i used to download the papers from net. also it has helped me in getting new friends. and last but not the least it is helping me to earn money in mylot. have a nice day.
