how will the world end?

me and my friends have alot of theories on how the world will end,maybe the a super volano will explode? or maybe there will be a nuclear war, but the fact is whatever happens we are speeding it up by abusing the planet and its resorces, anyway i'm interested in other peoples ideas on this and any ideas on what could be done in a ideal world to change it

Technology remains our only hope. Only by discovering new renewable fuel source that do not release carbon dioxide into the atmosphere can eliminate the trend of global warming.
Biotech is also extremely important. If we can engineer a tree's genetic code so that it will grow very fast and consume carbon dioxide faster we can both increase forest production remove more of the existing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere
