I was just wondering how often do you tell your partner or family members "I love you"? I say it several times a day and I always kiss my bf goodbye when he leaves. I also tell my family(parents, grandparents etc.)that I love them as much as possible.I can't stand the thought that something may happen to any off them and I didn't get to tell them how I feel

I tell my family i love you most of the time everyday because i wanted for them to feel that i'm always here for them. Also, i really love to say i love you to my boyfriend and to my daughter. The day is not complete without this magic words. For me, we need to say "i love you" to our family and love ones because life is so short and we didnt know the end of time. To those who feel shy saying this word, start now and absolutely you can feel that life is beautiful and has a meaning..I LOVE YOU :)

I love you - a valentine's day heart - I love you
Actually, quite a lot. Like you, I have this horror of something bad happening to someone I love, and having parted on bad terms. I remember reading this interview once, with a Mother who had lost her child in a road accident. Not only was she obviously devastated, but she was really bothered by the fact that she had been scolding him for being late as he left the house on his way for school - she never saw him alive again. So, every night before I fall asleep I tell my partner I love him - or in fact I usually say "te quiero mucho" because he likes to hear it in his own language! And I also tell my Dad I love him when I see him or say goodbye to him on the phone. Guess you'll think I'm really soppy and silly now?

Not really.....there is nothing silly about making sure that people know how you feel about them. You just never know if you get another chance.

I tell my children all the time that I love them I never want them to grow up and say I don't rememer my mom ever saying she loved me. As for my boyfriend that is another story, I like to tell him also that I love him a number of times a day, but it irrates him. He says that it doesn't have to be said eveytime we talk on the phone. I feel that you never know what each moment will bring and would hate for the people close in my life to wonder did she love me? Just my thoughts. Goos luck to you here at mylot!

Oh not as often as I should really I guess, I do make a habit of saying it to my mom everytime we speak, and I do say it to my daughter quite often but I suppose not as often as I should, but then again I would hope both my mom and my daughter would know how much I love them without me having to tell them! Good on you for letting everyone know how much you feel!

I don't say it that often, because otherwise I'm afraid it'll just lose its meaning. So it's a bit special when I say 'I love you' to my girlfriend.

I hear my partner saying "love you too" everytime they get off the phone to their mum. it is because she expects it to be said before hanging up... to me reciting it like that sounds hollow... I love you is important to be said to your loved ones, but not just recited it needs to be inspired by moment one is in... To me that way it has meaning.

My husband and I say it in the morning when he leaves for work, everytime we talk on the phone it's the last thing we say. Also, it's the last thing before we sleep. We also say it at different times during the day when we're together. Even though we know how each feels we still feel the need to express it verbally.

I feel you can never tell your loved ones "I Love You " to much. There is no such thing. I tell my family as much as possible. Somthing you have today can be taken before the blink of your eyes. I Lost alot of family in my lifetime and I always made sure they knew I Loved them. I never would want to loose someone when they think I am mad or hurt with them. Even if I argue with my Husband I make sure I say I Love You because He is my Everything and I would never want him to leave this world not knowing I love him. This subject was a very good one, Hope you get many responses.

I say it every chance I get because I don't want to be left somewhere wishing I had said it. I also show my family and loved ones how much I love them every opportunity I get.
