MENTOS + DIET COKE: Is it true?

Is it true that Mentos, when diluted to Diet Coke, causes some kind of chemical reaction? =/ I've read it somewhere.

ya i heard of someone doing htat and trhowing it up to the seagulls and they explode sick. sad i think but i dont know that makes me wonder how good can coke be for you if it does that?

HAHA. Coke does quench our craving for cold caffeine.. =P Just don't mix Mentos with it. It goes wild. LOL

I really works man. I tell you. Just don't try to re-cap the bottle once you put the Mentos in. It will explode, literally. =/

yes! i've seen an e-mail about it. it mentos causes coke to expand until it gets out of its container. that's why it is not recommended to drink softdrinks with mentos, or anything with menthol. ^_^

I see.. That's interesting. I wonder what would happen if someone pops a Mentos into his mouth then drinks Coke afterwards.. =/
