Philip Pullman book on PBS

One of my favorite authors has one of his stories coming up on PBS. the author of the Golden Compass, etc. will have the Ruby in the Smoke presented sunday night. Hi stories are written for young adults as well as adults, so it should be a good family movie. Just wanted to give you a heads up! Write a review after you've seen it !

There was a BBC drama called Ruby in the Smoke, based on the Philip Pullman book. It starred Billie Piper? Is this the same one. If so then i thought it was very good, thoug i didn't really like Billie Piper in the lead role!!!
The books great, there's four in the series, though the fourth book is a bit strange!!
