Phillip Pullman is one of my favorite writers. One of his stories will be protrayed on PBS this Sunday! It should be good. His books are appropriate for young adults, so kids may like this show, too. Just wanted to let you all know. Send me a review after you see it! I'll write one, too.

Is that the one with Billie Piper as Sally Lockhart? If so it was on BBC here in the UK last Christmas and was very good. I read the book years ago and couldn't remember it that well, but really enjoyed the show.
We've got the sequel, shadow in the north, on next week on BBC here in the UK - so we do get a few shows earlier than the US!! LOL!!!

I hope we get that one ,too. Have you seen "The Golden Compass"? Its showing here. I loved the book and loved the movie. There is a great controversy over it, as some are saying it is evil and anti -Christian. I don't see that at all. People who are saying that must not have read or seen it.

Awesome, thanks for posting this. Sounds like a good family tv night.
