well i dont listen to ghazals much but Mehdi Hasan, Ghulam Ali and Jagjit Singh and even Abida Perveen are surely undisputed champions of their domains

Why don't you listen much? I am sure at times your exortion will completely be wiped out by ghazals. Just try it.
