Strange pizza toppings??

I have seen some pretty crazy mixes and toppings for pizza, but I'm interested in seeing if there are any more really crazier ones... I once saw banana, ham and egg pizza. It was a pretty strange thing to smell, and whilst I love all the ingredients, the smell was too strange for me to handle getting one for myself. So I stuck with the old trusted meat feast of pepperoni, ham and beef... yum yum. I once saw a guy eat raw fish and mango pizza too. I hate fishy food soo it was a definite no no for me. What posseses these people to try the whacky combinations in the first place??? Certainly got me for any kind of understanding at all... Go ahead then guys and gals... shock me!

Ok, now I am a true blue pizza lover but have never ever heard of these crazy things. I think the "craziest" I ever go is occasionally pinnapple on pizza and I know a lot of people that is their favorite so guess I'm not living too crazy in the pizza arena.

think the "pinnaple" pizza that settled best with me was with lots of ham. And thank you!

Ya ya! Sounds like pineapple is one of those things that you love or hate on your pizza. Something I like to call the "marmite" effect! hehe. Personally, I love marmite, and I love pineapple on ma pizza. It's nice with onions, mushrooms and sweetcorn too. ihik! Thanks for the reply!

I also find it wierd to put pineapple on a pizza. Onion rings, pizza with mincead meat like beef, feta, sweetcorn, small sausages... all wierd kind of stuff that I honnestly never imagined could go on a pizza! I like my pizza to have tomato, mozarrella, ham and mushrooms... A good pizza also should have a good dough. Many pizza places these days sell you those huge things all fluffy, I mean honnestly, I want to taste my pizza, not chew it for 2 hours before I reach the center of it!

Here in the Philippines we have sisig pizza its a popularly known dish made from parts of Pig's head and usually seasoned with chili peppers and kalamansi (it's like a lemon). It's really yummy but has lot's of cholesterol.

Oooh. Sounds quite nice that does. I would happily give that a go. The pizza in Indonesia tends to be the same as ours, and I often thought that some of their cuisine on a pizza would work!

I love hawaian pizzas though!! Pineapple and ham is just amazing. But I love cheese and pineapple thingies you get on buffets when you go to family parties n stuff! haha. In fact, that's the only reason I attend such events! Thanks for the reply though dude. Love and light.

Well I dont know if this is strange or not but I love it. A pizza with all the works and then dip it in french or ranch dressings. I also love pinapple on my pizza.

I make my own pizzas sometimes, probably my favorite toppings are artichoke hearts, jalapeno peppers. Don't know if either of those qualify as weird, but I don't think I've ever seen artichoke hearts at a pizza joint. Ham and pineapple rules, pepperoni also workd with pineapple pretty well.
