Guitar Hero 2 Technique

I will tell you the fingering you should use once going from medium to hard which by the way is a huge gap to cross. Just move your fingers down 1 fret from the green so your fingers are on RYBO instead of GRYB and when the game calls for a green fret button just "slide" your index finger over to it because your index finger is much more easy to slide than your pinky finger. I hope that helped. And remember to practive a lot!

Great tip! I doubt I'll ever even get good enough to move up to medium from easy though! I am just about to move up to medium so I have a long time before I have to worry about hard.

Thanks for these tips. I am still on easy. I'm having fun with it though.

Thanks, I'll be sure to try this technique. I can play all the songs well on medium, but I have trouble passing "Shout At The Devil" on hard, so hopefully this helps me out. The game, in my opinion is worth the price. I'll still be playing it even after I beat it. Thanks again! -Joe

I haven't tried this technique yet, though I've thought about it. I'm on expert level on GH2, with ten songs yet to complete. I'm afraid now after playing it for so long that it would just thoroughly confuse me to change my technique. However, I may just give it a shot to see if it works better for me or not. Thanks for the suggestion!
