How important is the use of a computer in your everyday life?

I know for me it is vital. I work from home and run an e-commerce store selling second hand books. So my business is run solely from the internet and I couldn't operate without a computer. I also spend many hours of relaxation time, reading blogs, playing games or posting on myLot. I was just wondering how important a computer was in your day to day life?

Script, I have to agree with you every part of my day it seems is tied to my computer somehow, from paying bills, managing my bank accounts to making money online at home. in fact when my hands are idle they feel as though they must have a mouse and a keyboard. Its almost unconsious, as soon as I awake and the coffee pot is brewing the first thing I am doing is waking up my friend the computer. BTW I need to check out your book site. I am an avid reader.

an e-commerce store selling second hand books... nice.. i think that's kind of what I do at part of my site as well but you phrased it so nicely.. lol.. and yeah, my computer is my life... i'm trying very hard to work from home and get things going that way... but even without the work aspect of it.. i need my computer.. lol.. we had someone knock down a pole awhile ago and we lost internet for a WHOLE 2 days... i went plain snakey not being able to get online...

Yes for me it is vital that I use my computer everyday, I work from home earning money everyday, so if I do not do my work on my computer of course then I will not earn any money here. I also find it very important to contact my family member over the net as they are scattered all over the world.
