This is another one from my other half. If you have a piano which has been scrapped because it is totally beyond repair you can make chess pieces from the keys.
Anyone got any more useful recycling tips for a piano which has played its last note?

oh lol, very, very tempting! However, the piano is actually my childhood piano which I still play and he is not allowed to do anything with it! He is laughing and saying if he got a bed in the shed he would never come out again!

You really want me to answer this? OOOOOOOOOOOOOK here I go......Turn it into a Plant Box for either House Plants or in your Garden for outside Plants in the Summer.

A planter, huh? Well yes, that is actually a very, very good idea. Actually I know you are a very clever lady, and smart answers do not surprise me one little bit!

turn on side, put strings in and make into a harp
Open the back up and make a hidden book shelf
Paint it in zany colours and hide your stereo system in it
Hide expensive stolen pictures in the back
Open the bottom part and use as a shoe store
put hooks on the ends for your coats
use it to lean your flat screen tv against
make into a DVD and video cupboard
put a plastic screen in to protect your fave flower arrangements
get a family of mice to live in it and make nice noises
use as a trailer for your car
make a giant bird house for on your garden tree
use as a sidecar for your motorbike
make into an interesting coffin
waterproof and use as a canoe
lay down and make into cat-proof sand pit
make into a really phat grandfather clock
I think we'd better stop beofe we get silly, lol we like these, as you canguess Shrek helped,ha-ha

wowowowowowow! Great, fantastic, super, any more where those came from? I am just off to buy an electric fence to keep Other Half off my piano and he liked half a dozen of those!
Keep up the good work, that really was extraordinary and very enjoyable! :-)

well, it was a bit soon to give the best response, but I seriously can not see anyone topping that! Yes, mini zebras, lol. Would give the mice some company, wouldn't it?
Certainly gave us a huge laugh and Ant is under strict instructions he is NOT going to make the piano into a DVD and videu cupboard with multi colour paint job. Not at all lol.
