Good shelter is essential for good health,It provides for health promotion. However, the conditions of housing in slum and low income community areas are very bad with no proper facilties for basic amenities like water and sanitation. As per the major findngs of NES covering 4330 Below Poverty Line families in the CCF Project area, 805 familes do not have house and majoirity of them are staying in temporary small huts/ joppadis.
