What does everyone think about "hip hop is dead"? Has everyone heard it? It' tight if u haven't heard it. It's original hip hop.

HHID is one of Nas' best albums since Stillmatic. I love the oldschool feel it has to it and the production is incredible. Nas really took the time to pick out the most soulful beats that he could express his imagination to. Nas brings back the essence of good music with HHID and stays true to the game while doing so. I cant wait to hear what he's gonna come up with next, him moving to Def Jam should've happened years ago. Can you picture him and Rick Ruben doing something? Fire!

I love that song. I'm a true hip-hop fan aswell as recorder. Nas has the skill that only few have. Nas always stays on subject. He never mentioned jewelery, hoes, or purple kush. str8 hip-hop. I agree, the best since Stillmatic. He dissed the ATL lol. The Game did too. Because the only reason they're popular is because of the dances coming out of Bankhead. Nas knows how to put a song together with great flow, great lyrics, great multis, and still have a message coming from his songs.

I thought the new album was decent, but it could have been better. I was expecting a lot from Nas for this record and I was a bit disappointed.
