no doubt he is a great player in the world .....bt luck also is required to some extent? so will he b lucky enough to win the world cup for his country??

Well I think no!! Since World cup is a glorious tournament and Rooney alone can't withstand this pressure.I don't think gerrard , Lampard , and Terry will be there to help him anymore in the world cup.

i am sure he will win the world cup for his country in the near future.. in the last world cup wen he played he was young and was not matured .. he will get matured and get to know the tactics of the game and will surely perform well in the next world cup......
