It took me a long time but I finally quit smoking. It was hard and I never thought I could do it, but I haven't smoked in about 2 years. And I will never go back. I used a system called SmokeAway. It is herbs and they actually worked. It was a little tough but it really worked. Have you quit recently, and how did you do it?

Hi there. My husband is a heavy smoker too. He had tried to quit it 2 years ago with the use of nicotine patches and gums. It worked and he did stop smoking for a year. But after another year, when he lost his job he went back smoking again, since all his friends he sits with are heavy smokers. I'm trying to pressure him to quit it all the way, but it's difficult. I don't know what to else to do. Can you tell me more about the Smokeaway.

Just go to SmokeAway.com. I think it's about $60 for the kit. It is herbs and it totally took away my craving for smoking. As soon as I started the herbs I just didn't want to smoke anymore. But understand that I was at that point where I really wanted to quit. If you are not at that point I don't think it will really work. My friend went and got those laser treatments. I think she went to a place called Laser Concepts. It really worked for her. But she was also really ready to quit. Good luck I hope your husband quits.

Well I have started with the Patches yesterday but I am not so sure if they will help me. I have never heard of Smoke away. But I will give it a good go with these Patches and hope they will work.

Hey, that's awesome! Congratulations! I've never had to try to quit smoking, but I know it can be REALLY hard, so good for you! Now you can put "quit smoking" under "things I've done with my life" instead of "things I want to do with my life".

Smoking is really a addiction and not easy to quit all of sudden. But good thing is there are many rehabilition center for helping to get rid of these habits. Try them and make a great change in your life.
