mylot referrals

How do I go about to get referrals? My friends simply are not interested in joining. Is there another way or system others have found useful? Please share...

If you have a blogsite you should try to blog about mylot and
put your referral link with it.
I still have only got 3 referrals and only 2 of them are active.
