it seems more and more families are splitting up, leaving little children of 8 and 9 who are often most heartbroken, alone in the mud, not knowing where to go. Is your family together or are your parents/you split up from their spouses? What do you think is the biggest reason for the increase in devorces?

I think no family is perfect these days. In my case, with my parents still together, I should say that we look "normal" on the outside. But the truth of the matter is, we have conflicts in the house. To start with, my parents have different religions (mother a Catholic and stepfather a Muslim). It's good that my brother (the youngest one, already 24) and the rest of us 4 are all working. Our family should have broken up a long time ago had it not for my mom who tried to keep it together for our sake (because we were still kids then). I have a lot of friends who came from a broken home, and I think the biggest reason for the increase in divorces is incompatibility due to hastened marriage, lack of financial security, and/or emotional immaturity.
