Mine is that today, after serveral weeks of trying. My 16 month old son has finally begun to walk. I am not talking about 2/3 steps here and there, but he is actually walking on his own and when he falls he gets back up and starts again. I am such a proud mum today, especially when he starts crawling and I say 'hey get up and walk'. He actually stops, stands and then walks. And plus with all the praise I have been giving him, he knows he is doing well so he keeps going. Oh how I love my little angel. Especially since I wanted him walking before his brother was born, and he was due last Thursday.

Ok it's nothing big but last night during bath time i was washing my 3 year old daughter's hair and water and soap when in her face, usually she takes a fit but she didn't this time. she was calm and i had time to go get a towel and then wipe her face off and she never complained. i was proud of her. then she took the little bucket and poored water over her head herself. i'm so glad she's over the faze of hating water going into her face. It will be a lot easier to wash her hair now.

Thats great. I have the problem of trying to stop my son from putting his face under the water to blow bubbles. So I resort to showers, where he can put his face in the water and blow bubbles.

my little angel has relearned to sit up by herself. She turned seven month this jan 16th and that day she sat up inthe bed all by herself, I was so happy but then she completely forgot that she can do that now again since 23jan she has started to sit again. She can nibble on a biscuit by herself, I am so proud of her the way she is becoming independent step by step. Now she is learning to stand up by holding on to things. Her zeal to do all this is really amazing.

Congratulations! My would be that I got up a couple mornings ago to find my 8-month-old sitting up in his crib. Of course as soon as I got to him, he smiled at me and plopped over, but he must have sat up by himself at least!
