turn it off?

do you still turn off the power of your monitor when you shut down your pc?

Nope. It turns off automatically after I've shutdown my pc. The only thing I turn-off is my AVR, where all of the power sockets are connected.

Yes, and the speakers get turned off too, like to save power, and i have bad insomnia so even little lights and noises can keep me awake strangely.

ok, that's your opinion and i respect that... i have a question... don't you turn off the avr? i think all the powers are connected through the avr that's why i don't usually turn off the power of the monitor because when you turn off the avr it all automatically turns off... if you really want to save power i bet you have to do what i'm doing turning off the avr!

Yes I turn off my monitor when I shut my computer down. I also have a surge protector, battery back up unit in case my power goes out while I am on the computer. This protects it from damage and gives me about 10-15 minutes to properly shut it down after the power has gone off.

that's good! thanks for the respose... me i don't turn it off/ i only completely turn it off on the avr.
