When is the last time you used the floppy disk?

It has been a few years since I used a Floppy Disk. When I got my new system I opted for the card reader rather than the floppy drive. I know that I did the right thing since I use my digital camera alot and I do not need a usb adapter for it just pop out the card and pop it into my system. But I do still have alot of files on 3 1/2 floppies and some day I will convert them to cd but to do that I will have to use someone elses system as I do not even have a floppy drive. Wow, floppy disks. I haven't thought about those in forever! I guess the last time I used them was my first CAD (computer aided drafting) class in design school. That was probably 5 years ago. But by the end of the semester, I was using zip disks, and then the next year CD's. It's crazy how quickly things become obsolete!!

I'm still using it 1 weeks ago!! ha ha ha, I was not joking I use it to open old document I saved on there.

I use them all the time because, for what ever reason, my CD ROM refuses to write to CR-RW's. It treats them as a one shot deal and won't write over what's on them. I've only had two or three floppys go bad on me and that was after they were used and abused for months.

Floppy disk I have really forgotten about it.. Today every one uses Pen drive as the removable memory..

I have a floppy disk on my computer but a didn't use it like you about 1 year ago. Now I have a USB Memory Card of 256MB so the floppy disk is useless.

I don't quite remember, but I think it's around 3 years ago. I have been using cd/dvd.

i use the floppy disk only for hard drive, ram utilities or for installing operating systems like windows 95, 98, Me :) , as a system disk ;)

I think it was about two years ago, or more...on the new hardware configuration the floppy disk is mising...

i havent used my floppy since last june. i prefer to use either cd or memory cards. i can save a lot of files in either of the two, unlike with floppy which have very limited space.

I used floppy disk a year ago. I don't have a floppy drive on my computer anymore. I just use my pen flash if I want to get something from a computer and copy to other. Floppy disks are history. A floppy disk is more expensive than a DVD so who will buy floppy disks in the early future.

hehe a long loooong time back. i was using the windows 98 operating system back then,and it crashed,and i had to boot from its floppy...floppies are almost extict today.

Oh my must be over a year ago i used one, got a new lap top had it for 3 months and now you've just memtioned floppys, i've just noticed i dont have a floppy drive on here lol
