I have. And I find myself feeling sorry for Raskolnikov even though he brutally kills a women. What about you? State your opinions on the book.

Crime and Punisment - A good book that you must read
I have read the book since i was young.I believe Feodor Dostoevsky was one of the best writers. Is a book that can teach you many thinks about the soul of the people.I watch the movie too but the book is better.

I agree that Dostoevsky was a brilliant author. The Idiot ,The Devils and Brothers Karamazov were all great. Thanks.

I have read Crime and Punishment when I was first year in college and that was yet in 1962 LOL! I was very much affected. I was not fond of reading but I finished reading that book in just a short time. I do not finish reading other books because to me they are dull but Crime and Punishment was so interesting that I was able to finish it.

I have not yet read. I am not able to get hold of the copy of the book. I have read The Brother Karamazov and others, but not Crime and Punishment. I did not know there is the movie. I think I shall try to get hold of the movie. But yes since I like reading I would prefer reading, but I have no choice.
