I think is getting about to be a very important language, spoken by about 1,4 billion people.

chinese language seems to be really tough.it is really unreadable by one who doesnt kno chinese.also it must b difficult to learn.but i like the way it has made an impact on global languages.its everywhere on the user manuals of electronic goods.

chinese language as well as words is different, the writing language used in main land is apart from hongkong and taiwan, the spreak language used in hongkong(cantonese) as well as others dialectal is apart from putonghua.....i think we should spreak well putonghua and save our localism.....

Difficult. When I lived in Hong Kong for 3 years, I try to learn Cantonese and I gave up. It was very difficult for me.

Well..I speak it. I know that the characters were originally derived from drawings like 'ren' (primitive stick figure) and 'tian' (crop-growing fields) and it slowly evolved from there.

that i'd like to try and lurn to speak it, but it just seems so complicated... i love it though
